Substance Archives

Lately I've been getting into Substance Designer, so I thought I'd put a few of my SBSAR (Substance Archive) files out there for people to use.

Please do note that if you want to use them and don't have Substance Designer, you'll need to download Substance Player to export the textures. Don't worry, it's free.

Bricks

My first material. It has no exposed parameters, so you can't really do anything with it, but if you want it, it's here.

LEGO

After making bricks, I decided to make... LEGO bricks. Although it's simple, I'm pretty happy with it. You can't see this all that well in the image, but it does actually show scratches when the light shines on it.

3D Print

I was waiting for the 3D printer I ordered to arrive, so to pass the time I made a material that kind of makes the model it's on look 3D printed.

Mosaic Tiles

While the tiles themselves aren't much to look at, the cool part about this one is that you can give it an image and it'll turn that image into a mosaic. Here, for example, I've used the classic Windows XP background. There are five different resolutions available: 4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, and 64x64.

...and that's it for now.
